Beijing gives: Steele Sidebottom

Has been REJECTED. With 6 coaches rejecting: Purple 77, My Chumps, meow meow, c4v3m4n/Master Q, CrowsFan and Boomz.

Reasons include:

Toovey, Pick 46, Pick 51 and Henry Schade considered to be worth very little

Kerr is old, injury prone and at best will only be, 'serviceable', for 2-3 years opposed to Sidebottom's potential 10 years at a much higher average.

Nothing of value to the Suns has been given to Beijing i.e. none of the Suns/picks are/will be in the Suns starting 15 hence nothing valuable/good quality being given up in return.

And one that went in favour of Beijing: Too many players/picks for what Sidebottom is worth.




So overall, IMO, it seems like Mexico is giving up too much quantity but not enough quality. Perhaps that is something Maca and BB should negotiate on?

No you don't have to pay huge overs, but you have to pay something of similar value, so quality over quantity. It's like if someone offered me 7 karmichal hunt's for Ablett. I'm getting 6 extra people out of the deal, but that doesn't mean it's an equal trade.

Ossie had always given people to the Saturday maca, why should purple shorten it?
