It was a joke Nails you flog.

People are going to block your trade because they see it as unfair, whether you do or not, it doesn't matter.

Stop being a whiny douche about it  ::)

QuoteCairoSands: may block the trade just for that comment

Coaches can neg trades just on personal feelings or disliking a coach, or fear that one team may become suddenly better than theirs. This voting system might need a re-think.
Never said I disliked you Nails.

Might just block the trade for that comment. :P

What comment?

Nails comment on chat was:

Nails: Ebert = Swan 2.0

ML then said: may block the trade just for that comment

As a joke... and Nails posted it on here  ::)

Exactly.

That is all that comment was. Everyone knew it and reacting like this Nails wasn't right.

MajorLazer

Can't believe people take me seriously at all. :P

I understand sarcasm isn't conveyed very well over the internet, but still.

Nails

I always knew it was a joke, but that's not the point.

My point is in this system, you only need a couple butthurt/insulted managers to neg your vote along w/ a few other managers who disagree and your trade is screwed.

The fact that one comment has the POTENTIAL to cause a couple to neg a trade = a weakness in the system - IMO.

I'm fairly sure you need to post a reason why you are voting against a trade and if Os deems the reason unacceptable or he sees the exact same reason over and over, I'm sure he would intervene.

Once a trade has been confirmed, do you guys think a the trade can be cancelled prior to voting? I only think this should be able to done if both parties agree....

thoughts?

CrowsFan

Yeah if both teams agree to cancel the trade that sounds fine. But can't be one team wanting to cancel cos they have found a "better" deal

Ringo

I think if a trade is to be cancelled after it has been confirmed then all parties should agree to cancell the trade. This fair.

Why should a trade be able to be cancelled by one party.  eg If I have confirmed a trade but have second thoughts unless we have this safeguard in place I could just cancel the trade. Not right imo.

MajorLazer

Yep, definitely agree with the above posts.

If you have second thoughts, bring them up before you confirm the trade.

You could formally agree to an escape clause between teams?
