QuoteNEWLY appointed Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley is interested in acquiring the services of former Melbourne forward Liam Jurrah, with the club considering drafting him onto its rookie list for 2013.

Bit of a risk with all going on with him at this stage.

I hope Port pick up Jurrah. There fwd line wouldnt be to bad with Shultz, Butcher and Jurrah

...That's one dodgy forward line! But not a bad one. A bit of consistency from one of those players would help!

Itll be interesting to see whether what the inclusion of Gus with more promised Mid time will do to Robbie Gray, as Ports midfield already have Ebert, Broady, Kornes, Wingard, Boaky, Cassisi/Hartlett (whichever one doesnt play off HB).

Honestly for Port, if I was Hinkley, I would get Paul Stewart out of our bloody backline and put him up forward, this would look good in 2 years.

HF: Gray, Schulz, Jurrah
FF: Stewart, Butcher, Westhoff

We really need another experienced head down back, why we said no to Russell I have no idea, as we now have lost Pearce, Chappy and jacobs, which leaves us vulnerable, Bobby, Blee and Jonas cant be back there without any support for the next 2-3 years, chuck in Tengove and Cassisi and Hartlett on our Back Flank and its obvious we need an older head back there stat!

But no doubt, if Jurrah can get over his issues, hell be a great addition! :)

I take your points but Alan Richardson would know Russell pretty well being from Carltank and if he said no, then Russell obviously doesnt fit with what they're trying to do.
