D-Rod Delisted - Rodan and Surjan amongst 7 delisted players

After extensive reviews at the end the 2012 season - and following consultation with new senior coach Ken Hinkley and coaching director Alan Richardson - the following players have been informed that they will not be with the Power in 2013:

Mitch Banner, Simon Phillips, David Rodan and Jacob Surjan along with rookies Mitch Curnow, Jarrad Irons and Daniel Webb.

Port Adelaide general manager football Peter Rohde thanked the players for their contribution to the club.

I am sorry but even as a Crows supporter I cannot get my head around this, I'm keen to hear Port fans' thoughts on this

I am adamant Hitchcock and O'Shea should've gone before Surjan and Rodan

Even my one-eyed Port friends think Hitchcock is a hopeless spud. I personally would have given Rodan and Surj one more go around.

Well you would hope they are clearing room for someone decent, I don't think their salary cap would be anywhere near fulla nd something tells me Monfries isn't going to fill it up :o
