Got a good feeling about dusty this year.
Stayed away this year when everyone jumped on, he looked a little heavy and generally not very happy, think that showed with the way he faded from games.
He has come back to pre-season weeks early, slimmed down and looking extremely fit, that on top of the natural improvement he will receive from another pre-season is a good sign.
The thing I like most about him though is from all the footage and photos ive seen, he just looks happy, in a good frame of mind, something i dont think was there in the season gone past. Chocco williams will be a great assest for him as well, best development coach in the lan
d. Ready to go boom imo, will take a punt.
I reckon Chocco, will really help him this year. Dusty has so much talent and he should break out this season

ubeaut

If he fixes whatever the hell was wrong this year then he could be awesome. Doubted he was such a lock start of season, esp with Tigers tough draw, but was still continuously surprised just how bad he was scoring.  with Lids and Cotchin getting most of the attention and the team playing well he should have scored well.

If he works harder, smarter and gets fitter then bingo.

A risky pick. Could be great. Should be great.
He's worth a thought but certainly not a lock in type based on history and issues.
Personally, he's on the Not Yet list.

Has been in the news as well...And not for the reasons you would want.

Tigers fans might be able to offer a bit more insight...But from what I've read (could easily be way off the mark) Dusty has trouble staying focused in the off-season, reckon that might stop him from ever putting in a big pre-season and living up to his potential? Or is he just not ready...Or is he and am I reading too much into this... :S

I think the whole thing has been blown way out of proportion because of the connors situation he was tangled in. He's the same as any other 21 year old, likes to party when he's allowed to, the fact he hasn't quite got his head around his game yet and the connors thing has been made out to be more then it is in my opinion, as i said before he's shown up to pre-season a few weeks early his head isn't in too bad a place

Well said Roti. Not as bad as it seems and Dusty will be fine.

was hyped up last year but in reality came back to pre-season unfit and carrying too much weight, got fit again but kept the weight, always thought he was playing to heavy last year thats why i stayed away

TheAnt

I like how so many people are saying the same thing was said last year, even though they were the ones hyping him up. He was only in his 3rd year last year, lock him in this year

I will be, that's for sure !

Torress

i think he is a tough pick. with fitness improvements you would expect more scoring output. but that tattoo is plain tacky imo!!

too many real cheap midpriced forwards to select and with new mpp's now available , he slides down the pecking order for mine. I don't think my team would lose out too much if he went 100 average- he aint gonna win u SC next year.
still an awkward priced pick to start with. I will start him once he proves it for a season. plenty of years to pick him. for a premo start I wanna know what im getting or take a punt due to price. cant see him doing a Dangerfield 2012 next year

next year I like rance and cotch, no room for more tigers
