Locked, a bargain pick, Cue Stick will help him a lot, contract out of the way, a better season for the Pies and a more direct fast moving game plan will see a lot of ball enter the fwd 50 fast and high, and who is the best contested mark in the league?

essendon2

too risky to have a FWD as
Rocky, NRoo, Sylvia, Cloke, Varcoe, Byrnes  ??? :-\

Yeah, definitely too risky. I reckon if you're going to go with both Varcoe and Byrnes, you need 3 top range forward premos to balance it out eg Cox, Buddy, Robbo, Zorko etc.

yeah changed it up
Zorko, Rocky, NRoo, Wright, Cloke, Byrnes  8)

Can't afford to start him unless somehow I free a lot of cash up. Have Zorko, Rocky and Robinson ahead of him with Varcoe, Byrnes and Macaffer. Really need to find 150k somewhere... and even then I'd probably go Sylvia.

Anybody see his amazing super goal yesterday? All class, showed true strength and a booming kick. Lock him in.

For those who haven't seen it, go on the video part of afl.com.au and look for it.

I did see his donut in the first quarter.

He won't get double or tripled teamed every week when he gets to play around Fasolo, Krakouer, Daisy, Macaffer, Didak and Beams instead of Mooney, Dwyer and Sinclair.

I was there and it looked like every time Pies went from back to forward near the goal it was just Cloke, one young kid, and then at least 3 of MacKenzie, Brown, Hurn, McGinnity, Glass and Schofield. Won't happen in the season.

Got it right there Jukes.
Daisy and Macaffer front and centre... 8)

me

how many ppl still have this guy in their teams? and how was the rest of his preseason (collingwood fans?), cos i didn't see much of him after nab 1 =[

got him at f5 atm, but am really nervous about him after seeing how badly he burnt some m8s last year

Jukes

I have him out atm but can easily see him slipping back into the side prior to their first match, maybe even as a round 2/3 trade in if he performs in their first match or two.

me

if he could replicate (or better) his 2011 average he'd make such a great starting pick - god this is a tough call, been sweating over f5 all preseason (don't like macaffer on the ground, would rather have him bench especially considering there are pretty much no viable cheap forward options this year)

Jukes

So this was a good amazing call by me :D

96, 69 and 121 in the first three for a 95.3 average against pretty hard teams too in North, Carlton and Hawthorn.

Who stuck with him, who traded him in, who plans to trade him in and who still doesn't like him?

I traded him in after round 1 and am loving it #TeamCloke

Ajax22

Liked him in the preseason but he was at that awkward price and didn't fit in. He should do well but I'm over somewhat speculative fwd line picks for a while so I'm gonna pass

I started with NRoo, he pumps out an 82 in round 1 and I traded him to Cloke (who was coming off a 96). I then traded Cloke to Leuenberger last week and now Cloke smashes out a 121. ::)
