At this early stage who do you think you will start in your mids for 2013?
With so many great mid priced options in other positions it seems as though a 4-4 mid will be the popular way to start the year.

I am hearing the same 4 names come up everytime the midfield is spoken about

Ablett - Pendlebury - Cotchin - Murphy

There are so many other great options out there though and potential big scorers.
Is anyone else looking at starting others?

I cannot justify paying 0ver 600k for so many players I'll probably look for value, Sloane ave 114 at the bye this year before fading, I don't think he'll fade like that next year! Murphy Cotchen and Dangerfield are all on my radar

Yeah theres deffinetly some value picks out there, people seem to want to play it safe in the midfield though, which is fair enough but its an expensive way to do things

Toby Greene will be in the top 6 mids next season

Adamant

Exactly the same as you quinny.

GAJ - Pendles - Cotchin - Murphy

Beams a chance to sneak a spot.

Yep + 1 exact same as you.
Ablett and Pendles are just guns
Murphy and Cotchin are both young guns who should score even better

colmullet

Looking at those names and Mundy....seriously undervalued

Jroo

But Kennedy, Beams, Watson, Selwood and Lids will all be good PODS

Mundy definitely under consideration as M5. With a full pre-season, expect him to go back to 2011 form.

Thomo and Watson are the only locks i would take. I will wait for GAJ and Swan to come down a bit in price

Thommo has only missed 4 games in 8 years, thats a massive bonus

Holz

Ablett: best in the business captain.

Pendles: Will be top 3 and I think he is under priced

Murphy: Possibly top 6 and underpriced

Mundy: Very cheap and my Smokie

I agree that Mundy probably represents the best value, particularly with Fremantle on the improve.  Danger pick is Murphy as I think that next year, with Judd slowing down, he will pick up the Judd tag, and I don't think Murphy has handled tags all that well in the past.

Valid point, I am a little wary of this factor.

I cant believe only 1 person has voted swan out of 27 votes! People just dont like starting with swanny
