Have heard rumors that Freo have put him on the trade table, but nothing official and I personally don't think he will leave

flower i hope not

It was posted on one of the "new" afl trade rumours twitter accounts that has popped up this crazy off season.  Until I hear it from a credible source (Adrian is not a credible source) then its just rumour and innuendo.... as Ross says "We dont deal in rumour and innuendo"

Hagebear

Still won't consider if he moves clubs. Will never be an out and out midfielder and due to his size he'll always get those crappy lock down roles either forward or back.

According to channel 10 Perth Broughton will be a Gold Coast player tomorrow  :o

If this eventuates it looks like Yarran is coming out of my fanplanner for Broughton.

Would be one of the most fantasy relevant trades of the off-season! You'd think he'll get mid time there so must come into consideration.

Yep thinking the same thing, especially after I saw your great stat about Yarran and his tough draw

What will his role at GC be though? Hopefuly not a tagger

Hoggyz_a_legend

With Broughton being traded to Gold Coast, will anyone be reconsidering him?

For me, he's been moved from the "never again" pile to my watch list.

He's a maybe atm, depends on my structure, which is far from finalised.

Samm79

Just doesn't play enough games per season to even consider in a starting team.

He only played 15 games last year according to the initial post.

He does miss a lot, but with the move, I think will come a lot more time in the midfield. Gold Coast's midfield- Ablett, Bennell, Swallow, Richitelli, and a heap of bit players.

I can see him playing Goddard's role under Ross Lyon, Half Back/Wing/Rover.

Very handy, especially after his brilliant 2011.

Last year was 2011 its still 2012 lol. He played 21 in 2011 and 15 in 2012.
Hopefully gets his body right and isnt used as a tagger and he would be a great pick up

He certainly is tempting as he has the potential to average 105 and is priced well for his potential. The reality of the situation is that he has played 15 games only in 3 of his 4 seasons. He may be worth the risk,....
