Thoughts

If this man retains his MPP status he should be in everyones calculations for 2013. But I think he's going to fly under the radar and could prove to be a valuable point of difference come the start of the season.
He's an integral part of the Adelaide side, and with them looking to take another step forward in 2013 expect Matthew Wright t as well. He's truly made of the Wright stuff (I'm terrible aren't I?) and I think he could be one of the highest averaging forwards next year, and if he is you could potentially save yourself a bit of cash and snatch a few sneaky league wins because as we all know those PODs are what make league wins.

In 2012 he averaged 1.0 goal assist per game, and while that may not sound that impressive it is elite. At his age there is quite a bit of room for improvement as well. But look at some of the guys above him - Kieren Jack, Luke Breust, Lance Frankin, Cyril Rioli, Sam Mitchell, Marc Murphy, Jobe Watson, Matthew Pavlich...There is scarcely a bad SCer among them which makes me think that score assists is something which is weighted somewhat heavily in SC. Good to know he excels at that then.

If he can add some consistency to his game in 2013, I have a feeling he will treat any coach who picks him well.

Verdict

He's one of the blokes I'm considering. There are always lots of smokeys on my mind at this point in the season, but as they are each slowly uncovered or ruled out the list dwindles down to a few names. I have a feeling this guy will make it to the very end and is likely to grab a spot in my team.

Prediction

I'm predicting a big jump in 2013 - 102.

CrowsFan

Will be very pleased if he retains his MPP status, and he should do in my opinion as named either in the forward pocket or flank for the majority of games then runs through the middle. Such a hard worker and is always looking to get the ball, which is what you want in your players. Will certainly be in my calculations next year :)

Jay

at 470k, ill consider him as an upgrade target. Guy is a jet though :)

We just got him in the Euros :)
He is definitely a gun in the making.
What are his chances of keeping fwd status?

I've heard he may lose it, but I reckon he should keep it this year.
He started half-forward and in the pocket a lot of games...not sure if he'll keep it in the future though.
