I like it, goes to show that a guy playing any role can win an individual award

Pav didnt do much in the first half of the year, and you can't get bonus votes for being the superhero that he was in the latter half

I would be absolutely spewing If I was Pav...

No Coleman, No AA, No Doig - thought he was a certainty for at least 2 of those.

Good on Crowls though, went from nearly being delisted to a B&F.

Ricochet

Thoroughly deserves it. Plays his role for the team every single week and last night got the recognition he deserves
Mayne was a surprise I must say

Can a Dockers person tell me why they include finals in the count when it seems most other teams have a player of the finals series award?
Just asking because if they don`t include the finals series then Luke McPharlin actually wins the Doig medal.

I can only assume its for every game that the team plays.  Crowley is a deserving winner IMO - played a role all year and was the best tagger in the game this year.
