Definitely deserved, had another great season. Bruest is the suprise for me, though I guess the coaches must rate his defensive work highly and I thought he was great in the granny and in our best 3.

Really impressed with Bruest's progress. 40+ goals for the year and looked poised and accomplished when running through the midfield more late in the season  :)

Yea was a clear winner, only other first year player that played seniors was Hill.

think of it this way- joel selwood is one of the most consistent afl players in the competition.... that being said, boyd still finished with the most over all dt points :P

i think it's a stupid award though, what if Sammy was 4th best on ground every week he didn't get B.O.G and lewis just racks up all these stupid 1 voter games, then really sammy would be more consistent..  ::)
