Under the Dome is a bit different than the book (from reviews, haven't read the book myself) but Stephen King has approved all the changes himself.

On the show itself it's a bit inconsistent, the people inside the dome aren't freaked out as they should be, too calm.

Parks & Rec seems more like the shows you like but otherwise i would have said Suits

yeah mate i really like TBBT and The Inbetweeners also but i'd say The Office US  is the funniest show i have seen

and theres 9 seasons to so will keep you going for a while they just finished it this year :'(

considering you like comedies reckon you will love this show just make sure you get the US version not the UK version i heard the UK one is just as good but i not watched it as i hate UK accents lol

yeah i heard good things about it but just cant stand UK accents i tried an episode but it drove me nuts

the only UK shows i watch are Top Gear, Doctor Who and The Inbetweeners
