What the flower is that pole about? None of that makes sense to me
A pole is one used for stripping or to hold up a structure. The poll above is for Game of Thrones :P.

I watched first few eps of the first season, then couldn't be bothered continuing. Will continue one day :P.

Vinnamon you started watching House of Cards yet?

Vinny

Yeah man, I'm at Episode 4 of Season 2. I'm enjoying it. I like how it's done, little bit slow paced but I don't mind that!

Game of Thrones   :o

Spoiler:

(I assume the Lannisters now lose the throne?)

He has a younger brother Tommen
Forgot about him. Thought the Tyrells would get it but then I remembered that's what started the war when Cercei and Joffrey took the throne.

I haven't read the books obviously - also, did you know they re casted Tommen?

SydneyRox

I expected that to happen, but later in the season (Havnt read the books and don't want to know anything)

Didn't think it would happen so early in the season  :o
In the off chance that people get anoyed at me, I'll say this in tiny text. Yes, this is a spoiler for those who haven't seen the latest episode of GoT. Just what I read about when this event happens in the books.

I read that in the books, Joffrey's death is almost immediately after the Red Wedding (they're actually in the same book), but I guess they wanted to separate the deaths between seasons.

Oh and also, can't remember when he said it but it was a while back I think, Bronn says "There's no cure for being a cow"

WELL BRONN, TURNS OUT THE CURE IS CAKE

your right GL. the RW and last nights gear would have been waaaaaayyyyy too much for one or even back to back episodes. Splitting them over the series also makes sense for me! They get to almost be the defining points for each season.

My Chumps

I felt like last nights episode was pretty scrappy though. Definitely could've done it better IMO. Nothing compared to the Red Wedding obviously.

Yes, felt uneven and poorly paced to me

GRRM wrote the episode,  he should go back to writing the books lol

Toga

I kind of agree Chumpy, thought more attention would've been paid to the wedding itself rather than the other happenings around Westeros. Still enjoyed it but it was a bit all over the place.

Bran's story line is a boooorrrrring.

As a non-reader it's still obvious that he'll become a big plot line in the future (Sansa, Jon, Rikon) but at the moment it's dull and going no where.

Where did Rikon and that girl go again?
