Will make things hard on port but could be very good for Richmond, something they have needed

Not sure that makes him a Dream Team player  :-\

His highest average ever is 74  :-\
Could go 75-80 at Richmond though.

Yeah relevance in DT?

Rance is more of Half back re-bounder...

What is happening over there at Port?  No one wants to coach them, no one wants to play for them...

Is it a club culture issue, or just a reluctance to play for / coach a team with a few years out of the 8 on the horizon?

I'd think its the latter. The players that are leaving are mature and would have left earlier if it was a culture problem you'd think, they just want some more success before they retire and its hard to see port playing finals for at least 3 years to be honest. Very good news for Richmond, may be able to finally make the finals again.

Never said he is a a good DT'er, but could effect scores over at Port and Richmond in either a good or bad way...

the only person i think it could affect would be rance by freeing him up a bit more, but i still don't think he's a consistent enough option for defence... can pull out a big score (138 vs. pies) but can also have a shocker (33 vs. crows).

rance the winner out of this dt wise, kept getting stuck playing on big forwards hence the inconsistancy but when he played the third tall/rebounding role scored quite well. dont know if i'd pick him at the start of the year but could easily average 80 imo

He could well be the Michael Johnson of 2013. If the other key backs stay healthy and in form he could bring his average up rather nicely to a premium level. However if at any point injury were to strike, he would likely go back to playing a more defensive role and spud it up. Bit of a risk and won't be for me but it could pay off
