2012: Summary
Mitch strung together a good number of games for the year, yet consistency remained a big issue.  5 sub-60 scores in 21 games puts him in the 'inconsistent' category.  He often played off a mid and enjoyed much higher possession games when doing so.

2013: What to expect
Prediction:
I personally can't see him getting FWD DPP.  Looking at his match reports there are only 3 full games he had playing forward.  There is no way whatsoever you'd even go near him as a pure mid either.  If he does somehow get FWD DPP, consider him strongly because he will noticeably improve as he becomes one of Geelong's goto mids.  Yet even with FWD DPP, he'd still need to improve his consistency (26 SD for 80 average is horrible).  As a round 1 pick (assuming FWD eligibility) he doesn't look great based on his consistency, however could turn into a great upgrade target after a form slump (if you like breaking SC golden rule #11a).  Personal preference on Christensen over him.

PPG: 93

Will up his average and may go close to 100, but no way would consider him in the mids. Need guaranteed scoring there!

definitely looking at him if he is a fwd but as a pure mid... no way

If he is a mid/fwd then he is definitely on my radar.

Nice write up Batt.
Lock him in if DPP, no chance as a pure mid.
