Former Port Adelaide rookie Joel Patfull has quickly become one of the team’s most reliable and versatile options down back since being drafted as a ‘mature recruit’ in 2005. The South Australian’s ability to shut-down opponents while creating drive from the backline remains an integral component of the Lions’ defensive structure. Won Lions Best and Fairest this year and is durable and has only missed 10 games since his debut Round 8 in 2006. 

Not really fantasy relevant due to his role in playing on opposition talls but gives you an option as he will play all games. Rarely gets beaten by opposition players. Would be a handy d7 but at an awkward price..

Patfull is a great defender but not a great SC scorer. Wouldn't pick him in my team
