This slipped under the cracks a bit it was announced on the hawks site on Grand final morning but was reposted as i think they noticed not many people had seen it!
We have signed a young Irishman, His name is Ciaran Kilkenny
He registered a massive 74cm on the vertical leap just 4cms of Nicnats record, He is 186 cms and still growing and has great spped and agility.
I see him as a half forward flank player who may be able to run through the midfield

Nicnat does not hold the standing vertical jump record, everyone needs to stop saying that he does!!
Trent Croad jumped 83cm back in 1997, Nicnat only 78!

And that was broken yesterday by Dean Towers (http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/149027/default.aspx)

Yeah I did see that. Fairly sure a few Americans broke it over in the US combine, but I'm not counting them since they were all in their 20's when they did it whereas Croad was 17! :o

Capper

Congrats but the only problem is that they find it hard to kick the AFL footy most of the time

Nic Nat does hold the record for the running vertical jump with 100 and something I think. Somebody got within 2cm of that at the combine, but the record has survived by the looks.

the flying hawk

where he plays depends on how much more he grows could use him as a ruckman if he is tall enough when he stops growing. Yeah most likely people will say he is to short example wayde skipper was short but man he could jump. :)

JBs-Hawks

Where is skipper now? Probably wouldn't use a delisted hack as an example ;)
