BREAKING NEWS:

Its been revealed that Kurt Tippett told his team mates via text message that he wouldn't be playing for Adelaide next year. As if that wasn't bad, it got worse with Tippett telling players and coaches that HE WOULD NOT exactly be going home, saying that he would accept the best offer money wise.

The 25-year-old has shocked his team-mates by not seeking a go-home trade to the Gold Coast but a move to the highest bidder which will become a match race between AFL premier Sydney and Collingwood.

He wrote: "Boys, this morning, I have told the club that I won't be renewing my contract for 2013.

"Making my decision has been one of the toughest processes I have ever been through.

"I have asked the club to shoot through an email to you all but in case it doesn't get through I want to thank you for your support and friendship over the past six years.

"Have absolutely loved playing alongside you all.

"You are all friends for life! I'll be in touch. Love KT.''

I can't see where Collingwood would find the cash to pay him in any case

How shallow are these players getting. He is already on a high paid salary at a club that is going to be very successful over the next few years. If he goes home fine, but to go to another club outside of Queensland then you will join the likes of Phill Davis as being a flowering scum bag.

End of rant.

.....Yeah.  ::)

Just like to add,

Collingwood are considering letting go or trading Dawes. However, they've already picked up Q-Stick and chasing Jon Giles. Then again they are letting go of Wellingham, but I honestly don't see how they are fitting all these guys in.

Might be doing a "Melbourne Storm" salary cap.  :P

Football Factory

Would be a great fit at Carlton if they can afford him

Harsh, almost makes me wanna make a joke about another player but it's probably a bit early for that still

Think he'd be a great fit for Carlton but can't see him in Navy Blue given his intentions for leaving are based around his family in QLD. Would offer the Crows a few players and our 2nd rounder but doubtful it'd get over the line in a trade. Also, would only take him if we could get him for under $750k - similarly to Choke, he's simply not worth that much.
