Isn't it a bit silly that GWS cannot pick him in the pre-season draft, which is not signing an uncontracted player it's drafting one?  ::)

i don't understand why gws couldn't pick him - supposedly its because 'they've already poached an out of contract adelaide player' but didn't gold coast do the same thing with bock...? ???

Why isn't anyone talking about Dawes?? PI know he's not a world-beater but personally I think he would fit into the Blues team perfectly! Stick him at CHF with Waite and Casboult/Mitchell in the Fwd line. Kreuz to ruck + 1 of Hampson/Warnock (seeing we should've traded Warnock...grrrr...

one good game doesnt make a good player... to put it in context the total tippet package skill set and wage vs the dawes skillset and wage is why id rather dawes, tippet is not worth 700-1m a year, chris dawes could do a similar job and keep our salary cap in better shape for a "real star player" :P
