He's not worth a whole lot considering he went to a Prelim finals team with probably the easiest draw we've seen in a while.

Not discrediting Adelaide. They were one of the top teams this year. Tippett was nowhere near one of the best forwards though. Heck Mike Pyke did more in the finals lol.

GC can pick him up in the draft if they want so if neither Sydney nor Carlton offer a decent trade (pick 2 is nowhere near what he's worth lol) then it might just come to that.

Tippett had a poor season,  but has extreme high potential and is worth so much because he is a key forward who can ruck as good as any other key ruckman. In the modern game that type of player is hard to come by, watch the crows hawks prelim where he was probably BOG and you will understand the demand

They could convince him to refuse a trade and nominate for the pre-season draft where they would pick him up for nothing. It's been done before  ;)

Tippett cannot go to GWS cos they've already got Phil Davis as an uncontracted player, and GC have pick 2 so they could get Tippett with that pick

They are also playing hard ball on Caddy, so they are getting a reputation for making life hard for players wanting to come or leave
