David Koch new Port President

Koch is a light weight bringing profile but not much else. I really like Port, always supported them in the SAFL as the other Magpies & support them against the Crows but I fear we'll look back in 8-9 months & realise how poor an option he was.

I know Port aren't blessed with choice but they need a hardcore businessman who can provide & stick with a strategic 4-5 year plan. Alas i don't believe Koch isn't capable of doing this. I hope I'm wrong.

Cruise, profile is probably what Port need ATM. They need to get those sponsors to help them get out of the red, and start to provide better facilities for their players. I don't see why you'd think that Koch wouldn't be able to provide them with a strategic 4-5 year plan?

Exactly Fletch, and the other appointments to the board mean Port will have strong business contacts all over the eastern states, so it won't just be Koch doing it on his own. He'll be all over it, I have faith in him.
