So, BJ has finally left St Kilda and his football home for the next four years lies in Essendon

How will this move affect his DT output? Will it make him more valuable or will he be given a less-DT-conducive role?

I personally think that with Watson and Stanton in the side he will play through the midfield and probably off half-back as a link player, like Stanton did this year.. Hopefully his DT form isn't the same ::)

Anyway what are everybody's thoughts on this?

Windigo

Will be in most sides.

People will be optimistic and think that with Godd going to the Bombers, he will score around the same if not more.  :)

Scrads

Its hard to say, I can't even tell if it will make a difference to my decision or not. Will definitely need to keep an eye over the NAB.

I don't think his scores will change much, they will be very similar I think. He is locked into my team anyway, a top 3 defensive option any year. It may decrease the scores of the likes of Heppell and Dempsey as he will be getting a lot of the free ball in defense. We'll have to see what role he plays over the NAB cup though.

will be better. average back to 100 again. with a fit backline, he should be able to rack them up.
quality players, regardless of where they go, will be given every opportunity to work their magic and God will be no different.
LOCKED.

Mr.Craig

Given that he spent periods of this year looking disinterested and still averaged 97, I could see him pushing back up over 100.

Last 6 games of 2012 averaged 114...

Spinking

Could go with way. He has played best when given a specific role and not moved around all over the place. He may find that at the Dons. If they use him across half back Ill be on like a shot.

nrich102

I don't think I'll get him, will be an upgrade target though

Ricochet

Superstars don't forget how to play footy when changing clubs
he won't drop away

I see Stanton's scores rising. I reckon Goddard will play on-ball and not off half-back, probably going to match up with the opposition's No.1 midfielder.

Goddard is a lock as a defender every year regardless of where he plays.

People that think this is going to turn Stanton into a star are dreaming. He will never be left to roam free, he is as damaging as anyone if he does
