Day 1 of Free Agency has started, as have the official offers being announced to players from all clubs.
So far the offers that have been announced are

DAY 1

West Coast - Wellingham for Pick 17. (Gives Coliingwood pick 17 and 18 in draft).

Collingwood - Quentin Lynch, rejected offers from other Melbourne based clubs. Almost certain

Brisbane - Moloney, 4 year deal offered by the lions.

Essendon - Brendon Goddard, 4 year, $750,000 deal officially offered. Officially signed with Essendon

3 team trade between Richmond, Bulldogs and GWS, would see Dom Tyson go to Richmond, Picks 5 and 6 to GWS in this years draft, and Bulldogs recieve pick in GWS 17 year old mini draft.

Sydney/Unrevealed Melbourne Club - Joined race for Kurt Tippet (Syd, Melbourne club, Suns, Lions) Now revealed Carlotn making big play for Tippet, with Gibbs a potential swap. If you ask me Carlton get a massive win there, dont rate Gibbs at all. Very skillful player, good supercoach scorer, but see him as the softest player in the AFL.

Brisbane and Richmond swap - Jayden Post to the Lions, Patrick Karnezis to the Tigers.

Melbourne - proposed 2 year deal for David Rodan.

Hawthorn - Shown interests in acquiring Brian Lake, although he is still under contract.

Fremantle - Official documentation produced to acquire Danyle Pearce. Port have 72 hours to respond.

Geelong/North - Offered there first round pick for Josh Caddy.

Geelong/Brisbane - Shown very big interest in Jared Rivers. / Reports b\Brisbane are offering longer contract and bigger $ than Geelong.

Richmond - Chris Knights has officially moved to Richmond. Details will be announced later.

Day 2

Neil Balme of Geelong states that Melbourne fans should look forward to getting Shannon Byrnes. Also stated that they re very intent on signing Caddy as soon as possible, as they have already met with him and GC.

Jared Rivers friendship with Geelong defender Andrew Mackie may be a factor in him going to Geelong instead of the Lions.

Kurt Tippet Saga - Rumors of a three way deal emerging. Tippet has officially told Adelaide he will be leaving at the end of the year, leaving the door open for this trade to occur. It would see pick 17 traded to Collingwood, in return for Sharrod Wellingham, then Collingwood would be sending that pick, as well as their pick 18, and forward Chris Dawes to Adelaide in return for Tippett.

North Melbourne have elevated rookie Majak Daw, maybe for cover if McIntosh were to leave.

St. Kilda will now look into acquiring Josh Caddy as they have salary cap room.

Who do you think will be a big improver in their supercoach scores as a result of changing clubs through free agency?

Heard (no bullshower) that Carlton are offering Bryce Gibbs for Kurt Tippet. Imagine if the two biggest locks in defence (Goddard, Gibbs) both went to another club. Anyone think it could bring a risk to picking them next year??

The thought of Lake and Gibson in the same line up is dooming, b but how many years will Lake play for and also will Lake or Gibo play CHB??

that be very interesting if it happens, fair trade in my mind also. Makes sense that the "Melbourne club" would be Carlton. Also Adelaide announced that sydney has not made an offer for tippet

Also heard news the WB are interested in signing koby stevens :)

Ringo

Pies also have joined the race for Tippett.  What does that mean for QStick

nichsa673

Quentin Lynch has officially signed with the magpies, making it almost certain that Chris Dawes, in whatever way, will not be there next year.

Not so sure. Our set up of 2010 & 2011 relied on Dawes at FF, Cloke at CHF & L. Brown 2nd Ruck/fwd. So it's possible we may look to basically replace Brown with Lynch.
