Anyone know when the Prospectus is released each season?

More importantly when and where pre-ordering can be done?

Got the 2012 one, priceless!

Early February.

As for pre-ordering, just sign up for updates via the Champion Data site and they'll send you an email when pre-ordering opens.

gives you past sats on all players, a spiel by freako on all players including new draftees, stats from the tac cup and vfl for newly drafted players ect.

list ratings and write ups for each club.

pretty good for fantasy and very good for general afl lovers.

nothing you can't find on the net or work out yourself but it would take you a long time and its great to have it all in one place.

Don't need to pay any money when you got FF ;D It's for the poor spuds that don't have FF :-[ Could you imagine life without FF :-\

I like to think my player research thread last season acted as a poor mans prospectus. FF is an awesome information source, a lot of very experienced heads around here too so not only are most stats and info to be found here , but some worthy opinions also...

most of my player research was done before i got a copy of the prospectus, and i never quoted freako thought that would be poor form :)

you will get 500 cheers soon enough, your nice and helpful, thats how i got mine.

and the 500 boo's 10% for being a tosser after too many cans of ale, and 90% for being a collingwood supporter :)

I git the AFL Record last year like $8-10 before I found FF and has even been usefull for the Asian Draft ;D

What does the Prospectus provide? How usefull is it? Apart from stats, which I get from footywire

it gave all the NEAFL stats for the GWS rooks, which you could not find anywhere. believe me! that was a big part of the 2012 attraction, but now I've had one i will always want one, not cheap however between $39 and $49 from memory depending where you get it.

I think from memory a few vics got them cheaper at bookstores?

It's like having FF in a book. Good, but not worth $40 every year. Freako is a dt/sc genius but can just get it all online.

Only got one, the 2011 one, signed by 21 Collingwood players (flowering Daisy Thomas wouldn't sign it).

nice - I paid about $30 for mine on ebay. Agree it is unneccessairy but helpful all the same, I also subscribe to the DT Pro and SC Gold assistant coach thingys too.

makes doing rookie writeups with breakevens easy through the season. And like the draft leagues we did this season, even won one. and minor premier in the other.
