Through the veteran status of up to 4 players, delisting or trade of Cameron Wood + a couple others and the trades of Luke Rounds who is seeking other opportunities elsewhere and Simon Buckley as well, there is more than enough money.

Wood is apparantly on nearer to 250k, while Dawes is reportedly on 500k according to Mark Riccuito whom reported that on Triple M Adelaide a few moments ago.

Wow, no wonder you are having salary cap isssues. Dawes on $500k sounds rediculous, same with Wood on $250k

Well Wood was planned to be our #1 ruckman but he just hasnt developed the way we had hoped. Honestly, I don't entirely believe Dawes is at 500k, but 400-450k wouldn't be too far fetched for me to believe. Stupid but it is possible.

Yea but you cant forget all the upgraded contracts to pendles, cloke, beams, Reid, sidey. They will all be on more cash next year then they were last year.

I am nearly certain that Dawes is on $150k. I read an article sating how he will make his money after football as he is studying Law. That and I spoke to him in 2010 and he told me he would play for basically nothing just so that he could play.
