McIntosh on Cats' radar

GEELONG is believed to be interested in bringing talented North Melbourne ruckman Hamish McIntosh to Simonds Stadium.

Kangaroos youngster Luke Delaney is also thought to have attracted interest from rival clubs after the tall defender managed 13 games in his fourth year at the club.

McIntosh, who turned 28 earlier this month, has played 107 games and kicked 59 goals with North Melbourne since making his debut in 2005.

He is contracted with North Melbourne until the end of 2013 so any departure from Aegis Park would have to happen via a trade.

roo boys!

Also said elsewhere they were willing to give up their first round pick...never mentioned it and HMac in the same sentence though. Yet ;)

Wouldn't want either to leave but they the ruck is an area we are strong in so if the right offer comes along HMac could go....Delaney on the other hand, I really like him in 1 on 1 contests, very strong and gets in good positions. Lacks a bit of speed and class at the moment but he doesn't really need it, could become a little in the mould of truck Rutten.

Capper

Would be very interesting as North want to play him up front and not in the ruck anymore if he goes to the cats as a Ruck.

Would one Scott give to another Scott??

Justin Bieber

This would be good for both Goldy and Hmac IMO.

the flying hawk

not needed at the cats they have vardy west and others

Ziplock

simpson may be leaving, and none of them are as developed as hmac- one of the weakest ruck stocks in the comp.

bunyip

I think thats true, but I believe Vardy and West will get to a levell where they will be a match for most teams. Give them another season.

Ziplock

that's the thing though, you can get someone who will be a match for most other teams right now, and then you only need to rely on one of vardy or simpson stepping up in the next couple of years, gives them way more time to develop. By the time they're ready, hmac will probs be ready to retire- he's probably the best fit for you guys.

Cruiseon

It's not gospel but SEN reporting tonight HMac is going to Geelong.

It's got Brad Ottens all over again, for everyone else I hope not.

Justin Bieber

Not only SEN has these rumours. He will go.

Kellogscrunchynut

Hope he leaves so that Majak Daw can get a gig.

monstrum

Anyone with ANY word on what the kangaz will get outa hmacs (possible)departure?

Ziplock

seems likely now that daw's been upgraded.

well, what do you need, basically kpp? you might get some I guess...

monstrum

Its very likely but he is contracted till end of 2013 so we will get something,

I WANT....

ANDREW MACKIE!!
