Dayne Zorko

Price: $531,200 (Fan planner)
2012 Games: 16
2012 Ave: 100
Position: Mid

A quick and gutsy midfielder, Dayne Zorko dominated the local Queensland competition for a number of years before getting his chance at an AFL career. He has the pace, skill and determination to either run through the middle, or even provide an effective small forward option. Dayne made his debut in Round 7 initially as a sub and then played all games thereafter averaging 106 for these 15 games only once dropping below 80 points and peaking with 163.

Was listed as DPP this year but doubtful whether he will retain and be pure mid only. Showed some signs of slowing down towards end of season. Will be 24 next year and will he beat the second year syndrome. Will be risky if Mid only but lock if DPP remains.

SC Prediction 2013 95 - 105

definitely a lock if he keeps dpp
i reckon even as a pure mid he could be considered
he will only improve and build on his debut year

Hagebear

I think he'll definately stay DPP. Very much played the Stevie J role of a couple of years ago. A high half forward flanker who kicks goals. Will be hard to start with him though with all the mid priced forward option this year.

roo boys!

Had a great debut year but second year blues could be a concern...but if he retains MPP will strongly consider.

This is concerning me...

From what I have seen it looks like he's kept his DPP? Correct in saying that?

If so he's certainly on my forward line radar.

Would this even be a problem considering he's a mature aged player?

I think it still can be. I mean its not a fact but there is always a bit of doubt surrounding someone that had a good first year as their second year they will have more pressure to perform, will get looked at closer by opposition etc.

Ringo

been confirmed as mid/fwd DPP so maybe a lock for teams looking at an alternative to Rockliff.
