Name : Craig Bird

Club : Sydney Swans

Position : Midfield

Price : $354.000 (Fanplanner)

2012 Games played : 22

2012 DT Average : 68.7

Player Summary : Sydney's 59th pick in the 2007 draft from the NSW/ACT Rams. He wears the coveted number 14 guernsey which has been worn by such swans legends as B Skilton and P Kelly previously. A hard running midfielder who is generally called upon to tag the oppostion's best player. He can also kick goals and can rack up a few possesions.

Interesting points : A stress fracture of the toe affected his 2010 season but since then has played 42 out of 44 games for the swans. Averaged 101.2 in the first 5 rounds of the 2012 season before falling off the wagon to only average 59.2 in the last 17 games with a high score of 85.

DT avg for 2013 : 71 and thats playing in the centre within an improving team.

Late mail : Will not be making my team, has the potential to be a superstar of the game but probably wont worry the DT scorer's over the course of his career.

Doesnt he tag? Pass
Yep a good tagger but had a very DT relevant first 5 rounds of 2012, you just never know.

2013 Dream picker price $354,300 and now is a MID/FWD

Justin Bieber

Yeah mid/fwd is surprising and more promising

henry

Considered getting him in early this year after a promising start but I'm glad I didn't. I can't see his average increasing enough to warrant his selection.

Carrots averaged 100 as a tagger ;)

SydneyRox

Next year when Bolton retires will help him. He is a smokie to score very well at the Swans, but not one I think I will be risking in my team
