"HE TUMULTUOUS reign of Stephen Kernahan as Carlton president will come to an end at the end of next season.

The former Carlton champion, president since 2008, confirmed on Wednesday night that a succession plan was now in place that would see either Luke Sayers or Ahmed Fahour take his place in October 2013,"

seems to me that Carlton is in more trouble than people thought

Did Stix actually want the job in the first place? I seem to remember a reluctance on his behalf to take the reigns, it was more of a situation of 'there was no-one else at the time'.

Now that the succession plan has come to fruition (there has certainly been plenty fertiliser around Carlton in recent years) he feels safe to abdicate. An admirable tenancy, moving on with integrity intact.

+ The Board could never understand him anyways, they just nodded after he spoke  :D

he did employ ratten and according to the board that was a fail. personally i belive that sticks didnt want to sack ratten and hence he has to step down
