Noz

Realistically i think Ads just made that trade so he can be in front with the team value.

Thanks Colli. Very happy with this trade. The team now looks like this.

DEF: Beau Waters, Danny Stanley, Paul Duffield, Jared Brennan

MID: Matthew Boyd, Joel Selwood, Nathan Fyfe, Sam Mitchell

RUC: Ben McEvoy

FWD: Dustin Martin, Jordan Lewis, Nick Riewoldt, Brent Harvey

UTI: Shane Tuck, Daniel Cross

Lester/Staker/Callinan will cover Harvey for the first 6 weeks.

I know this trade looks like a win to Noz on paper, but I really needed a gun captain option to compete with Swan, Franklin, etc and Boydy fits the bill perfectly. Harvey will average the same as Wellingham IMO and West Coast have said they'll use him as a tagger, which could mean a drop in average. This will hurt me long term no doubt, but I think this has definitely increased my premiership chances for 2013. Depth looks a little shaky, but that is a super strong team.

Who the frog is Ryan Lester ???

Toga

Thanks lez. :)

Now that I have one list movement back, I can do this trade:

Lambs (Toga) give: J.Schulz + J.Polec + A.Boston

Eskimos (KoopKicka & Memph) give: B.Lake + N.Bock + T.Hunt

KOOPKICKA or MEMPHISTOPHELES TO CONFIRM

Costs me two list movements, but since I got one back from lez & am trading Taylor Hunt back into my team, net list movement is zero. Gives me two older defence premiums, very happy and just about completes my team.

Justin Bieber

When did West Coast say that?

Good pep talk haha. Staker will return after Harvey.

Jroo

Someone give me a defender for Luke Hodge   :P

"WEST Coast club champion Scott Selwood could be given even more ball-winning freedom this season, with recruit Sharrod Wellingham shaping as a strong run-with option for the Eagles."

Also, Staker could still play round 1 if all goes well, but realistically round 2-3.

Justin Bieber

They stay Staker could realistically play reserves at rd 3. Then not sure from then on.

Loosing Boyd may hurt but gaining Mundy and Wellingham will strength my premiership chances. Was also quite sad to see Lester go but I gain better forward depth in Wellingham.

Also Luke Ball may still be available for the right price.

Premiership chances?  ;D

Haha I wouldn't make a trade just to be on top with the team value. It means nothing as it was based on last years averages.

Noz ::) we would've given you a better deal for Boyd you mug  >:(

Lester/Staker/Callinan cover for 6 weeks? You realise you have to make the finals to win the grand final Adam?  ;D

Meh, who cares about Lester/Staker etc. All that matters is that I got Boydy - 147 average last year. 8)

Noz

Roud 1 team
Defence: Heath Shaw, Nathan Grima, Sam Fisher, Shaun Atley

Midfield: Jobe Watson, David Mundy, Brad Sewell, Adam Goodes

Rucks: Ivan Maric

Forwards: Dean Cox, Paul Chapman, Sharrod Wellingham, Leigh Adams

Bench: Ben Cunnington, Mitch Duncan

Emergencies: Jack Viney, Brandon Ellis, Luke Ball

Once Gray gets back to his full fitness and Krakouer, Ellis and Kerr get back to their best i will have the best depth in the league.
