Eskimos Give: Rhys Palmer
Ales Give: Rookie Pick 4

JB to confirm! :)

Confirm.

Reasoning, he's a shower player but basically getting him for free.

CANCELLED BY TRADING PARTY/PARTIES.

Not anyones place to vote or suggest voting on trades, we will not change the rules mid trade window.

The rules were never changed have not been and will not be, it was always to be for me to Approve or reject trades.

All I have done over the period is send out a PM to all coaches to explain the spirit and guidelines in which I will make those decisions.

This trade would not have passed. Even had it not been cancelled, which it was before I was required to make a ruling.

A rookie pick for an established player of Palmers ability is EXTREME UNEVEN.

Had it have been a national pick even as low as 40 I would have had to let it pass, reluctantly but that would have been enough to drag it out of the EXTREME UNEVEN category which requires a trade to be blocked.

Happy for both parties to renegotiate the trade, but as I said I was informed by parties involved in the trade that it was cancelled before I had to rule on it.

This is not the first time I have been advised trades proposed and or agreed to have been cancelled in this trade window either, it has happened several times.

I am not sure what I will do if a trade is attempted to be canceled AFTER I APPROVE IT.

But I have so far in EVERY CASE, allowed any trade to be cancelled by trading parties BEFORE I rule on it.

Not sure what peoples thoughts on this are but I used the same logic as changing your pick in the draft before the next person picked.

I would imagine agreeing to trades then changing your mind would somewhat damage your reputation, but I also understand we have young people, inexperienced people in this competition, and I would prefer people annoy others by changing their minds than be locked into a deal they don't want by not changing their minds when they feel they should.....

Not the greatest season for Palmer still take out the sub-effected games and you have a player averaging well over 100ppg, not about to allow him to be traded fro a rookie pick and claim it not EXTREME UNEVEN.

Still I must reiterate, this trade never had the chance to be blocked it was cancelled.

15 Games.

9 100+ Scores including 2 x 130+ , 2 x 120+ , 3 x 110+

High 136.  Low 17. (Sub effected)

Average 97.

IN a team that got smashed most weeks and that will get better so will he. Should be a lock for a 120 average next season, in this competition it will be incredibly unlikely you will draft a rookie to score the same next season.

Gonna have to prove you wrong then. Come at me 2013 Barlow!!!

So what hind of pick would get Palmer then?

I don't want to say in advance what can and can't be done but realistically you would think around nat #40 upwards to about pick #10, anything above might be just an uneven as anything below 40.

Its really hard to say tho, even in sprtsbet a 97 average player who had two 50's and a 17, so reallly is a 105-110 average player is just too much for a rookie pick.

BUT AGAIN I MUST REITERATE - I DID NOT BLOCK THE TRADE, IT WAS CANCELLED. I am loathe to block any trade unless it is totally and obviously extremely uneven.

Even after 26 and a half beers from various boutique microbreweries and after losing tennis this seems a very good decision by cw.

Done deal  :)

Enright + Pick 11
for
Waters + Pick 58

Will let Colli know via PM, and will put it up in the trade thread tommorow.

Yes colliwobbler. Pass this deal.

APPROVED

trade is even enough both premiums, but waters is significantly younger so better pick comes with the older enright, pretty clear its even enough.

Anybody with a Birchall type backman around age 25 or younger that is available for trade, please throw me a PM.

Offering Tom Liberatore and Josh Caddy, as well as Picks.

We are also Searching for either Pick 1 or 2 in the Draft.

Good luck.

Maca24

I'm offering enough, surely I can land one :P

JBs-Hawks

Yep definitely worthy of a top 10 backmen

Justin Bieber

You need something big to get Whitfield off me.

James Kelly is equal to pick 16

Nathan Foley is equal to pick 11 (who is like worse than Kelly... lol)

So pick 1 is equal to a Trent Cotchin or something around that.

Colliwobblers

I'm out of that race, 1 I have no list movements left so would have to wait for window #2, but more so the best I have back is Dempsey Howard and Myers  :o

I have obviously nothing much worth picks either WHatlez, best I got is #10 not sure what I paid for that a fair bit i think but I'm keeping it :)

is an exciting draft that awaits us, hard to value picks, but when you do think Tyson, Greene, Coniglio, Patton, Caddy, the list goes on, get the right high draft pick players and the value is extremely high.

this year is supposed to be even more that way...
