You are the GWS of Asia.

Nice work.
hmmm Patton and Greene would be nice but Cameron, Dev Smith I can't complane with also Hombsch, Darley and Edwards could turn into backline junkies. lol I went after Bulldog, Power, Gold Coast and GWS players as when my team is ready so will be these clubs peeking  ;D Like having Collingwood and Hawthorn players now  ;)

Buenos Aires Hong Kong gives:Scott D. Thompson + Nat Draft Pick 48

Jayman's team Sri Lanka gives: Scotland + Rookie pick 19
Jayman, please quote reply to confirm with your reasoning and then I'll reply with my reasoning.
CONFIRM

I think the Strikers will benefit from this trade, as we are sending off one of our older players who wont have any affect during the years im looking at a premiership. Scott D. is a solid performer and will continue to be for a number of years. Pick 48 strengthens our position in the NAT draft also. The 'Dongs' also benefit from this trade as they get one of the best averaging backs going around :)

APPROVED - JUST !!!!!!

The picks go some way to balancing the trade, and so does Scotland's significant extra years in age. I see it as a BIG win to Nails but that is just my opinion as a Scotland fan, and given that Thompson is a premium and no spud and the picks add balance this is FAR from RIDICULOUS or  UNEVEN in the EXTREME.

Concerns me as Nails list continues to get older, but as I have said in my PM until someone has ruined their list/team it is not my place to tell them how to manage it. We will see how it looks in a couple of seasons as those stars start to retire, I am sure Nails will have a plan to stay competitive in the years to come with his senior citizens list ;)

That Said & For Right Now:

The odds keep shortening on the Asian Cup spending Christmas  in Hong Kong in 2013 :)

Nails

Chris Newman and/or Luke McPharlin now up for trade in this window or the next, pm me offers.

tbagrocks

Honestly when I've seen Carlton play Scotland is no where near playing in that backline, he is dead set part of the midfield rotation!

Nails

Yeah, there's a risk he'll be mid only and it'll seriously flower our plans... But he'd be a good reserves midfielder anyway.

Honk Kong have to be a chance when they wave the Asian flag in the Champions league?

Yeah they will probably whine that we have no points cap on our lists, but that won't ever change.

We need to delist to a capped number of players, cannot add drafted players each season without delisting players, likewise need to delist players to promote rookies. That is our check on teams balance, if one or more teams develop super strong lists why tell them you have to trade guns out because your team is too good?

that seems ridiculous to me?

but then we also have trade restrictions they do not, limits on movements and even sided trades ( player/pick for same number of player/pick)

and all players retire eventually so Nails can't line up those stars forever.

Still if any team drafts talent well there is no reason they cant have 15 guns on the park every week of every season.

tbagrocks

The Llamas will have fifteen guns every week, just might be developing guns  ??? Still guns though!

Nails

Will trade for rookie pick number 1 next year and acquire Lance Franklin after delisting him

lol :D

What you gonna give me for pick 1 :P Seriously though I expect to at least be competitive with the bottom clubs!

Nails

Is it only me or is sportsbet fantasy afl down now?

It's kinda depressing because I kind of wanted to use it to count how many players are top 100 :(

or can someone pm me a list of all the players and their averages? Similar to what was up at the start of the draft...

Because points cap is euqilavant to salary cap in real life hence adding tl being realistic ;)
