My top 3 defenders are all in the top 6 highest averaging defenders of 2012. It would need a pretty good offer to move one of them on.

Also, the only real thing stopping me from winning the premiership is that I don't have a super premo captain option (like a Swan, Ablett, Pendles etc). Jelwood is a gun, but BB having Swanny x2 will probably cost me...

My team still averages higher than yours... and that's before I made my most recent move.

We have now acquired Bartel if you didn't notice. That means my team improves by around 26ppg after it was already ahead of you to begin with.

Adam - how am I lacking? I have the 4th and 15th highest averages of 2012 in my team. That 4th average was on track for 3rd highest average until injury effected scores too (buddy)

l havent had a look at this thread for a couple of days........Damn Nails, a bit harsh on Rids there mate.

The fact that he was made a Senior Assistant after such a short time shouldnt be held against him in any way at all. lt was me who approached and appointed him, so if you have a gripe with anyone it should be me.

But even then it wouldnt be warranted, its my team so its my perogative to appoint anyone l want.

RidleyU has proven himself to be a very knowlegable and a valuable addition to the coaching panel of both the Bangkok Crabs and the Russian Roulettes......l only wish l'd appointed him sooner

He's a bloody good bloke, and will fit in well with all here......he loves his footy and is just as fanatical as the rest of us

I don't/didn't have anything against him. I merely asked him where he came from out of pure interest, then lez/tbag/rids decided to take part in a joint operation of tying each others knickers in knots. I did not state rids was stupid or not knowledgeable. I did not state anything about him being stupid other than my belief RE: Goldstein saying it didn't reek of intelligence. I simply stated facts. Writing articles =/= intelligence.

I have nothing against him and much rather instead have more respect now if anything. Good to see the new fanfooty baby stands up for himself.

well said nost, and he and nails just clashed, it happens no big deal, no hard feelings i am sure. plenty of angst both ways not just nails, and i am certain there will be more throughout the season but here is generally mutual respect in this forum and that is all that matters.

mind you at one stage i was tempted to lock the thread for an hour or two and send everyone to the naughty corner.

Late reply because my internet wasn't working, but meh.

We added added up our team's averages aaaaaages ago. Even back then, your team only averaged like 3 points ahead of us. Since then, we've gotten in guys like Waters, Lews, Wellingham, etc. You can't compare last years averages though anyway, I mean, Dusty, Fyfe, Mundy, Brennan, etc all had below par years. They'll all smash their 2012 averages.

I did forget that you had Buddy, but having the #1 pick in the draft is a huge bonus as your captain option. Don't forget, we had the second last pick of the first round. Buddy will struggle with contract talks on his mind. ;)
