Honk Kong have to be a chance when they wave the Asian flag in the Champions league?

Yeah they will probably whine that we have no points cap on our lists, but that won't ever change.

We need to delist to a capped number of players, cannot add drafted players each season without delisting players, likewise need to delist players to promote rookies. That is our check on teams balance, if one or more teams develop super strong lists why tell them you have to trade guns out because your team is too good?

that seems ridiculous to me?

but then we also have trade restrictions they do not, limits on movements and even sided trades ( player/pick for same number of player/pick)

and all players retire eventually so Nails can't line up those stars forever.

Still if any team drafts talent well there is no reason they cant have 15 guns on the park every week of every season.

Because points cap is euqilavant to salary cap in real life hence adding tl being realistic ;)

Salary cap = so rich clubs can't just go buy all the best players.

Seeing as we can't just go buy players here and we have to trade, it's not really relevant IMO. Why should we have a points cap? It just punishes teams for drafting well and helps teams that are spuds at drafting. The strong teams shouldn't get punished for choosing to draft older players. We're not buying them and do not have any advantage over you at the start of the competition. That's what the real life salary cap is, to prevent rich clubs from advantaging. We don't have rich/poor clubs here. We just have clubs that drafted young/old/middle aged. Therefore a cap would be irrelevant and unfair on those who chose to go old.

Provided a cap were in from the start it may be different, but then I would have drafted different also ;)

Try that mate..

Thanks mate.

12 of our 15 are in the top 100 overall averages :) And it will be 13 out of 15 if Clancee Pearce maintains F/M DPP as we can then use Roughead in the emergencies.

D - Grimes,Scotland, Gram, McPharlin
M - Montagna, Griffen, Anthony, Kelly
R - Hale (or Roughead if Pearce Keeps DPP)
F - Franklin, Pavlich, Roughead, J. Brown
Int - Kornes, Hayes

Don't waste your breath arguing, your team is the one a points cap would effect so obviously your opinion is biased

Salary cap = so rich teams can't dominate like premier league.

There's no such advantage in this competition therefore a cap would be pointless. Why should one coach be punished if others were too stupid to select the best players available?

Found this in ESPN NBA Fantasyworld. Catchy or what?

Justin Bieber

World's play with a cap right?

KoopKicka

Competition is really heating up for the services of Rhys Palmer using Rookie picks, get in quick if you still are interested! If not, a deal should be finalized soon! :)

Yeh u said it for me nails, i don't see the point of a cap....  :-\

Jroo

I have picks 18 + 37 + 47 in the National Draft.
Willing to trade them all for a first round draft pick + rookie picks. Pm if your Intrested  8)

Colliwobblers

basically a salary cap is a salary cap, keeping that real to AFL means paying key forwards the most a few mids big and rucks and key defenders large and everyone else is thereabouts....

don't worlds do it on scoring of fantasy points - totally NOT relevant to an AFL salary cap?

Means Zorko and Gibson, neither who will earn huge money for 2 or 3 more seasons at least, would be considered in worlds to be "elite paid due to their scoring"

I'm not sure how they work it all out, if we become very imbalanced in future seasons we will have to look at working balances into the rules.

but if you ask me, if we do (teams) become imbalanced in the future it will be because certain teams are run better than others, or certain strategies are working better than others.

that and the imbalances that go with it are VERY prevalent in the AFL.

Colliwobblers

LET ME KNOW IF I HAVE MISSED ANY TRADES, HAVE UPDATED ALL I HAVE APPROVED ON THE FRONT PAGE, AND ALSO UPDATED LIST MOVEMENTS TALLY, UPDATED NAT AND ROOK PICK LISTS, UPDATED TEAM LISTS.

Confirm.

Reasoning, he's a shower player but basically getting him for free.

tbagrocks

:o That couldn't go through? Well good luck with it!

Justin Bieber

Yeah how much I do not rate Palmer, that is pretty uneven.

Rookie Pick 4 will get you someone who didn't get picked in the first 500+ picks....
