How the flower is Motlop going to be defender?? Varcoe will be a defender and Motlop will get delisted a year.

Harper is probably the worst player in the comp. Soft as anything, weak as piss, outside player, cannot win the ball, averages 20 in DT

I see two spuds for two good players.

dont wont to way into this too much. Harper is a good player, he is being groomed as the replacement of Boomer, rated very highly at North and I rate him as one of our best young players.

Will likely keep forward status all his career playing of that HFF and drifting into the midfield from time to time. His average is decimated from green vests. I predict he will get none this year as he has worked hard in the off season and expext someone new to pick up the vest.

Holz has essentially summed up my thoughts on him. And he's a North fan - I'm an Eagles nut. I think that this will be Boomers last year?

Those who complain about trades so much and suggest a voting system for following seasons are the same ones who will bloack any trade they see giving any team an advantage for the same reason and mentality that makes them complain about the trades.

don't be surprised if we switch to a voting sstem if no trade ever gets approved. but that suits me just fine i don't care much for trading.

as for your evaluations of the 4 players involved it is a little dissapointing you seem to say so much and know so little about the players in question.

here is a fact - " Motlop recorded the most pressure acts at Geelong of any fwd ".

here is another one " Motlops kicking into the fwd 50 resulted in a mark for his team 34% of the time the 4th highest percentage of the 175 players in the afl who recorded at least 40 kicks"

another one? " ranked 4 at the cats for goals, 5th for scoreboard impact"

as for Harper well Holz obviously knows a lot more about him than any of the rest of you and obviously Memph does too.

harper who was involved in 9 substitutions averaged the 2nd fewest minutes of all north players

- still ranked 4 at north for goals
- 5th for scoreboard impact
- 4th for pressure acts

the spud can't kick straight - 25 goals 18 behinds, you think if he learns to kick straight and plays full games he will average 70 ?

I think in future without wasting my time or energy whenever anyone makes a stupid, argumentative or incorrect post i will just delete it and ignore them.

and next season you are free to all vote on trades but don't ask me to change the system when you all block each others trades.

I don't mind teams getting an advantage, I only neg voted about 5 trades in Worlds and I voted on over 100 iirc

It's just this

Trading 2 young stars

for 2 young okay players. Harper and Motlop might be good AFL players but doesn't mean they'll be great FANTASY players. Similar to Judd/Simon Black. Both Bloody stars, but not fantasy relevant in reality.

Therefore pressure acts and whatever else you want to use to impress us with Motlop/Harper is 100% irrelevant. Pressure acts or accurate kicking doesn't score you sportsbet fantasy points.

I understand getting an advantage, but 2 for 2 of same age but 2 stars and 2 non-stars is cray-cray imo.

I'm not trading Stanton for Priddis, Lake and Armfield

Armfield would be about our 10th fwd option

Priddis would struggle to get on the field and would be a -30ppg downgrade (once you take into consider VC)

Then Lake is only an 8 ppg improvement over Newman.
