QuoteKey defender Ted Richards and midfielder Josh Kennedy were the Sydney Swans players to make the team, while former Swan Sean Dempster, who had a big year in St Kilda's backline, was a surprise selection.

Well done to the Swans Ted Richards and Josh Kennedy on making the All Australian team.

Jetta unlucky to miss out

And Essendon and Hawthorn kick themselves a little

Capper

Dons got Lonergan and Dempsey and Hawks got Grimley, Stratton and upgraded Suckling for JPK and Mcglynn

I still think we won on all accounts

My Chumps

Hawthorn would be kicking themselves the most...

A Kennedy leaving, and a mighty fine football player as well...

JPK's new nickname is Mr September btw; he averages 30.2 disposals across his finals career  ;)

Awesome work boys, a little disappointed that K Jack did'nt get a nod.

Jetta was the most unlucky... Should have got over the line instead of Rioli

Just using SC scores as a very simple demonstration why Jetta didn't get in. Yes, I know it has flaws....

Overall average: 79.9
Jetta average for first 13 matches: 87.5
Jetta average last 10 matches: 70.1

He faded away.

Compared to Rioli
Overall: 98.48
First 13: 93.4
Last 8: 106.75

How do Jetta's defensive skills stack up with Rioli?

At the time it didn't seem so bad, he wasn't really making an impact in our midfield and there were probably salary cap restraints that came into play. Starting to feeling pretty sick about it now thoough. Bloke is a machine.

Yeah, imagine him and Sewell delivering the inside ball... ah well, now it's Kennedy and Hannebury :)
