Glassy as captain is awesome he deserves it.
Cox as forward pocket is a bit perplexing tho.

I thought Cox would get it... at FF though isn't unexpected- he single-handedly won several games from there.

The fact that a West Australian got skipper (Glassy) is unfortunately overshadowed by the exclusion of Pavlich... Shake really.

Nic Nat was odd but Waters, Coxy and Glassy had insane year. Thoroughly deserved!

Im glad that even the west coast supporters on here arent completely bias and are acknowledging the surprise of NicNat being named the #1 ruck this year. Very odd, but hey if hes already being named AA playing half games in the ruck at age 22 then imagine the amount of AA's he has to come in the future.. Scary for us opposition!

I was also personally pretty shocked at Glass being named Captain ahead of Watson and Gaz. Congrats to him though, great footballer and seems like a ripper bloke

Glass is an appropriate Captain and I think its a fitting reward for a great year.

NicNat had a good season and deserves an AA jumper, but not at the expense of Jacobs who I thought was a standout for #1 ruck.

Cox in the Forward Pocket makes sense to me, especially the way ruckmen play in the current game.

Waters was rewarded for his sublime courage.

Pavlich should have made the team.

very surprising with NicNat's selection. The kid will destroy the comp one day, but didnt really think this was the year he got AA honours
