Thoughts

Dangerfield is in the same boat as Beams for me in 2013. Despite his outstanding 2012 season he isn't a viable starter for me in 2013.
He has only had 1 90+ season, and is now a midfielder. There are much more proven performers in the midfield who you can count on to maintain their 120+ averages. While I believe that Danger can maintain his average, it's safer to look at him as an upgrade target. Starting players coming off a breakout season is usually a spectacularly bad idea.

Verdict

Wouldn't start him, but he's the perfect upgrade target. A judgement call though, if you take the risk you could pick up one of those 150+ scores that we all know he's well capable of.

Prediction

In 2013 I'll go for 121 for Danger.

Hopefully can be picked up as a fwd still.
Too expensive to start with. With so many great mid priced options in the fwd line, danger will be the perfect upgrade target

Won't be a forward, will be one of the premier midfielders next year and will only get better, Sando has wanted him to get more outside ball and he is becoming a more rounded player, he is fast becoming one of the best players in the competition and with his back half of the year scored mammoth scores often, this will continue!

Deffinetly has the ability to score BIG but the main thing I look for in my mids is consistancy and it would be a huge risk to start with danger round 1 if your hoping for consistancy

Lock in the forward line and I would consider if he were to become midfield only.

I think the average will be more like 105-110. adelaide wont get an easy draw like they did last season so dont expect to many bunny scores

lol 105 :o

Fremantle 187, 145
Geelong 133 (Round 18)
Sydney 122
Carlton 174 (Round 8}

yeah Paddy needs to play weaker teams to score well :P this notion players only score well against week teams is floored

Ricochet

love the fact that he can score massive... his consistency is the worry
but we should see that fixed as he gets older

roo boys!

Highly doubt he'd be forward, so doubt I'll be picking him. On the outside chance that he does have MPP status again he's almost locked as a forward, but doubt it.
