I think it's going on both, as this is a discussion on who you would select in the ESPN fantasy comp we have going.

So think about it as if there was an an "All star draft" who would go as the top 10 draft picks based on the past season/what you expect from them.

RiOtChEsS

hmmm now its too confusing, fantasy and actual basketball dont really translate that well...

Yeah, I think that's a more simpler way of determining a top 10.

Best Players Right Now

1 LeBron (does it all, has it all)
2 Durant (if he ever gets the drive of an MJ or Kobe lookout)
3 Kobe (still controls games and is as clutch as any thats ever laced em up)
4 CP3 (can take over a game in many ways)
5 Rose (has another level he could unlock)
6 DWill (underrated, will start getting some cred with a better support crew around him now)
7 Howard (injuries and new role affected ranking, think his best years r behind him)
8 Love (unique skill set, beast rebounder shoots elite percentages even beyond the arc)
9 Griffin (raw freak of nature that can only get better)
10 Rondo (showing signs of improving his outside shooting, the rest of his package is elite in every way)

no Wade. Interesting

on his day, as good as any... his body lets him down tho which is what makes Kobe so good, his longevity

true. Don't think it's really his fault - he plays a more athletic, physical game to Kobe these days. If he stays fit this season Miami will win the championship

RiOtChEsS

yeah agreed, he is a big key to our championship hopes which is why he will be used sparingly during the season...

11 Dwade (as good as any)
12 Westbrook (raw, plays out of control which has pros and cons)
13 Bynum (talent based ranking, dont think his head will allow him to reach his potential)
14 Melo (for what its worth im not a huge fan, selfish and plays hero ball)
15 Dirk (has one more great year/playoff run)

Jay

To add to my list

11. Melo
12. D-Will
13. Griffin
14. Westbrook
15. Dirk

Mat0369

LaMarcus Aldridge is better then Dirk right now as a power forward. Also a better all round player then Griffin, just does not get noticed as much because he is not as flashy and plays for an ishy Portland team

fair point. He is an extremely good player.
