Did you see the latest AFL.com.au article? Apparently he dislocated his shoulder in ALL 4 games during the carnival, yet still made the AA team. He's moved a bit higher on my shortlist... especially if he slips to pick 20!

True, but there's been a bit of surgery done, so I'm slightly less worried about that.

Tim Sumner

Birthday - 9/10/94
187cm/83kg
Club - Woodville West Torrens
Price/Position - $102,700 Fwd

Drafted Round 3 Pick 55 Gold Coast

Sumner is a half forward/midfielder who played the majority of the 2012 season in the S.A Under 18 comp. He kicked 16 goals from his 11 games, with 8 of those coming in an impressive performance vs North Adelaide. He was named in the best on 7 occasions. Tim only played the one game at the national championships for 6 possessions and 22DT. He has enough raw talent to make recruiters stand up and notice, however I can't see him making an impact in his first season unless Gold Coast find themselves suffering some major injuries. His scores at the various levels in 2012 were -

Under 18's - 53, 104, 77, 85, 113, 102, 113, 52, 72, 62, 90 (Ave: 83.9)
Reserves - 54, 80, 67, 72, 90 (Ave: 72.6)
Seniors - 18, 11 (Ave: 14.5)

Kevin Sheehan says: “Medium forward with good pace which allows him to break the lines. Wins his own ball, is strong overhead and is clean with his ball handling. Had just a taste of representative football this year with 1 game for SA in the U18 championships but has progressed rapidly from playing district football last year."

Tim McGenniss

Birthday - 18/1/94
180cm/76kg
Club - Dandenong Stingrays
Price/Position - $109,300 Mid

Drafted - Pick 10 Rookie Draft North Melbourne

Despite winning the Stingrays' best and fairest award this year ahead of Jason Pongracic, McGenniss hasn't generated a great deal of interest from AFL scouts. He didn't play a part in the Under 18 Championships and was overlooked for a national combine spot but was invited to the state testing so all might not be lost. His DT numbers for the season show some promise with scores of 62, 97, 49, 93, 103, 74, 71, 82, 136, 86, 54, 90, 96, 56, 49, 33, 50 and 83 (Ave: 75.7). If he does get selected in the draft I'd expect he'll be placed on the rookie list so the best we can hope for is a mid-season promotion.

I watched this kid play in an SANFL U18 Qualifying final... He has an uncanny knack of getting free and finding space. Has pace to burn and of all the teams, Geelong, North and th Crows are three teams he could fit in at very well

Yeah, he had a good year at the Eagles winning their B+F and put in some 25+ disposal games. Has he nominated for the draft? I couldn't find any info on that. Anyway, I think he might have found his level at SANFL. I'm not sure he's capable of making the next step up.

Dean Kent

Birthday - 24/2/94
180cm/81kg
Perth
Price/Position - $102,700 Mid

Drafted Round 3 Pick 48 Melbourne

Kent was the winner of the Jack Clarke medal as the best player in the W.A Colts competition for 2012 while also winning the WAFL Coaches Award. Captaining the Perth Demons team he averaged 16.6 kicks, 6 handballs, 6 marks, 1.3 tackles and kicked 18.24 for 92DT a game. His scores for the year were 79, 90, 96, 57, 81, 124, 91, 111, 91, 85, 82, 76, 127, 115, 85, 108, 98, 93, 81 and 55 (Ave: 91.2).

While not being very tall, Dean has excellent strength and generally plays off half forward but has the potential to be more of a midfielder as his game develops. Despite his excellent form he was overlooked for a place in Western Australia's Under 18 team (illness was a contributing factor) but he was invited to the state combine which indicates at least some AFL teams have him on their radar.

As it turns out Melbourne gave Kent an opportunity but I'm very unsure about what his JS may be. Track him during the NAB.

I need to keep telling myself that DT scores aren't an indicator of a good AFL player, otherwise this lad would definitely be pencilled in!

I think that's called the Couch rule. :)

Yeah, he was one of the only Vic Metro boys to put in 5 good scores. Even in the game vs Vic Country where the average DT for the game was 51 he scored 84.
