Name: Todd Goldstein

Club: North Melbourne

Position: Ruckman

2011 Games - 21

2011 Average - 99

2012 Games - 20

2012 Average - 79

2012 100s - 5 (140, 107, 104, 103, 104)

Summary: Big Toddy Goldstein was consider a lock by many coaches at the start of 2012 after he added a impressive 25 points from his 2012 average last season with 7 scores above 100 and 3 of them being over 130 coaches had him locked and loaded for the 2012 season. This wasn't the case however Goldy suffered from the return of McIntosh's averaging a shocking 45 for the first 4 rounds. Hamish gets injured Goldstein goes bang for the reaming 15 games Mcintosh wasn't there he averaged 87 including a massive 140 in round 9. Goldstein would still go on to suffer a yearly price drop of $122,700 this was considered one of the biggest for the year.

The Facts: Goldstein proved to be one of the most dominate ruck man in the game with the 3rd most hit outs and 6th for hit outs per game.

Noz's Prediction: Continues his dominace with a 95-100 average

Noz's final words: Comes at a good price this year round and if he can get back to his best he will be one of the bargains of the 2013 season, Then again how will he go when McIntosh comes back into the side can the two work along side each other and maintain good averages. Will see how they play together in the NAB and make a decision on that. Shortlisted

The only thing that's keeping me away from Goldy is the H-Mac factor  :P

Gottta agree HMac will need to be traded for Goldy to be a lock.

Ricochet

would love to lock him in but NicNat, Leuy (vardy and grundy) are my rucks to start with next year

Windigo

H_Mac cramps Goldy's style.

Won't be in my team next year at all I don't think.

interesting, definitely considering as I think after 2012 NM know Goldy is a better No.1 ruck.

Then again HMac may be brought into the side as a key forward and only ruck 20% of the game Petrie rucking 20% and Goldy at 60% or maybe Petrie doesn't ruck at all

why would Petrie ruck when they have both Goldy & HMac in the same team? after watching 2012 it looks like Goldy rucks well by himself, as does HMac. Goldy goes better though.

If they decide to go without McIntosh, I would expect Petrie to ruck a small bit maybe just in the F50.

Yeah, it really depends on McIntosh, if he moves, then Goldy is a lock.
