Thoughts

In 2012 it's pretty clear David was held back by a combination of injuries and a struggling Essendon midfield. His injury coincided with the downfall of the Bombers' season, and by the time he was back it was impossible for him to do anything noteworthy with 2 sub 50 scores in 3 games. In the first 10 rounds of the season, he averaged 99, and if he retains his forward positioning he could be worth a look in 2013.
The price is a little steep but with a seemingly severe lack of great forward options - he's one to keep an eye on this preseason.

Verdict

I won't commit to anything before I see how he goes this preseason, but if he can get going I can see him ending up in my forward line.

Prediction

I think he'll average 100 in 2013, even if Essendon doesn't recapture their form of the first half of this season, he will improve and maintain the average he had when the Dons were on song.

Torress

if he is 469k i think that is too much for him imo to be a starter

on the radar tho solid option.

Torpedo10

He won't be DPP Mid/Fwd, He'll be pure mid. If he is DPP though definitely gotta consider.

Adamant

Very underpriced from those last 3 or so games. Got to consider if DPP.

This year I'd say he's a fairly decent chance, beyond I'd avoid if you're looking for a forward.

Will be in our top handfull of midfielders and definitely expect him to take 100% mid time looking forward.

Ok, thanks Sid!
I thought the arrival of Goddard would mabye push him more forward.
Which two do you think are most likely to keep DPP out of Zaha, Dusty, Robbo & Jordan Lewis?

Dont expect Goddard to take anyones mid position. Goddard wont be playing full games in the mid. He never has, he never will, hes not that sort of player. Zaka will still get plenty of mid time.

P.s Cant speak for the others but im certain Martin will get dpp. Spent a lot of time forward

Hard to say mate. He is a midfielder first but can be so damaging up forward so he may always rotate through that way. He is a  burst player also, not the sort of guy that will grind away a full game in the midfield. He is so young though that its really hard to say

Thanks quinny :) I think he should keep it for 2 more years at least.

aces-high

Behind buddy, Stevie j, pav, dusty, Bennell and walker for my f1/2/3 premium spots. More pf a dt'er i reckon :)

Shihan7

In my side atm, his quad injury has made him nicely underpriced!
