I really can't trust the Pat to play 20 games!

Nic Nat was in my team up untill the surgery, may still get a run but he'll need to firing round 1 which looks unlikely. Might have to take Cox from my forward line to the rucks and go with either Jacobs or Maric. Play an extra rookie up forward then shift Cox to the fwds one Nic Nat is going and hopefully a bit cheaper from getting fit and into form. Will work on it more Mon 17th when Assistant Coach comes through. Nic Nats setback has messed me up abit.

Goldy maybe some love there gotta admit but as much as i respect Luey's ability i worry about him going all year. Seems to find a way to wreck himself. I may have to consider him mate as money could be real tight with the new rules/setup etc. Really cant say no to anyone at the minute, i know i'll be thinking of all sorts right through Nab Cup etc to lockout, i usually am messing with it up till then. Part of the reason i dont bother starting to think about it to hard untill the new season is on me lap top. This year i'll get going earlier as i had assistant coach last year but that was DT only so wont be no different for SC, it'll be Feb for me. Like you i'll be reading all i can find and watching anything, most of my work comes from here though. Alot of smarter people than me here and the threads this off season have been very good so i'll be offering up all i can do to help but i'll be taking more away with me from the good work others have done and doing. Been very handy having the new talent thats joined over the last 12 months as we dont have a new team starting up and the luxury of that in 2013.

Rucks killed me last year and the days of set and forget Sandi/Cox have gone.So many variables with them(the rucks) only sees me looking for value.I do think(touch wood) that Goldy can get back to 2011 90+.No 1 roo ruck , he is the man.With Nic Nat delayed start could set up big cox to dominate early.But a year older and extra cash hmm.What would we do without our usual ruck problems.Less money spent less expectations.Food for thought.

Yeah we been lucky last 2 years, first we had Smith then we had Giles both cheap as you can hope for prior to that it was always the set and forget option. Cox came back into contention for another year in my team with his DPP otherwise i may of jumped off in 2013, been a great servant and cant remember apart from the last two years that i haven't started with Cox/Sandi. Marc Jacobs and Nic Nat are possibly the new boys in town as Cox and Sandi enter the twilight of their wonderful careers.

A lot of people will pick him. I'm thinking it's out of Goldy, Maric, Jacobs for me

i reckon you might lose out too many points there Ada. Playing Cox instead of Stevie J is no real points gained, and playing Pedo instead of Cox is a massive point loss. If Cox was in your fwd line instead of a rookie then you should be all good.

I think the original post was about nic nat . The guy is a freak still very young and I have read a lot about his groin surgrey. They say he will be running at start of the year, I am fairly sure the eagles know what they are doing . I have seen some posts saying he has no football skills , well I hope I play a lot teams that have this same theory .
