It will be a NicNatBerger combo for me next year with Vardy at R3

Why so much man love for this guy? seems everyone wants to start him like he's taking the mantle from Cox  :o there are other legit selections at No1, he's not the best Ruckman and he's not the best footballing Ruckman ... yet!

Why is he such a lock? Surely he will be inconsistant? I might save money here!

Extremely likely to be the highest averaging ruckman in 2013, and given the amount of people that like to go with set and forget ruck setups he is the logical choice at R1. :)

Not starting him could get you valuable league wins when those inevitable 60s come though.

Who will outscore NicNat?

Cox is the only guy likely to but he is spending more and more time forward each year and will only be another year older

NicNat was one of the most consistent players in the game this year from memory wasnt he? when i picked him up around bye time he was punching out straight hundreds, towards the end of the year he was a bit more up and down but his ups were massive and his downs aren't as bad as they have been, he will only get more consistent and bang out more huge scores more often

Standard deviation of 30.4762 isn't flattering and he missed the ton in 25% of games despite averaging 114. Not that consistent but you'd expect that to get better considering he'll only get more ruck minutes.

good feedback guys, still not certain I will pay a high price for him, I avoided Cox for the same reason and usually went with Sandilands, Mummy is getting back to good form, Jacobs is building, Goldstien has done it before, and the Mullet in an improvong side, was Maric's first full season so sure to improve again!

true but he had two 90's so only had 3 "sub par" scores and his standard deviation is that big because he cracked 150 four times during the season aswell

The new ruck rule has made NicNat even tastier! ;D

WEST Coast ruckman Nic Naitanui will make a delayed start to pre-season training after booking in for groin surgery.

The 2012 All Australian was hampered in the latter stages of the season with the nagging injury.

It was hoped that Naitanui would be ready to train at full capacity upon resumption this week after the eight-week off-season break, but he was still in some discomfort and consulted a specialist on Wednesday.

As a result, he will be sent into surgery next week to appease the problem.

Yeah I saw this.
Its a long way from round 1 but still not ideal. These things often have a habbit of dragging on a bit
