I couldn't... I just couldn't.

Coxy, Leuy with a ruck/fwd premo in the fwds is fine for me.

Although... extra trades? No, I can't.

Why do you need a ruck/fwd premo in the fwds? Just chuck Sam Rowe or someone on the bench.
I see Roughy having a big year man. Cox in the ruck and if Leuy is scoring well I can leave it all alone and see Roughy chop up in my fwds. If shower hits the fan and Leuy fails I can slide Roughy into the rucks and have Leuy turn into a fallen forward premo ;)

Win-Win.

Alright, let me ask you this... do you think Roughy will outscore a fit Sandilands?

I reckon...

Roughy 95-100.

Sandi 100-105.

...BUT...

I have never heard of this thing you call a 'fit Sandi'...

Haha, but with unlimited trades, we can just trade him like he was never injured in the first place. :P
yeh but then there's the injured score  :P
i think he got like a 10 last year
That can happen to anyone and everyone. We or I understand 211 s history but if he is fit rd 1 i will pick him.Sandi & Roughhead play 23 games who will score better?
Hard to say, Roughie averaged 90+ coming off an achilles injury which is up there as one of the worst injuries footballers can get
And he's only 26 this year...
Just gonna update my fanplanner side lol

I guess that's the only real risk in picking Sandi then.

I think I'll stick with him and just hope that he gets injured late in the game. :P
Why get Sandi when there's so many better options?

Like who?
Maric, Mumford, Ryder, Bellchambers, McEvoy, Jacobs. Even Hale. all either around the same or less cash.

Sandi will outscore all of them.

Maric will average more than Sandi, the rest around the same maybe a bit less but for less price and a severely lower chance of injury.

doesn't matter- unlimited trades, as soon as sandi goes down, sideways to maric.

Jukes

To end the huge quote tree :P

I don't like people going around throwing the "oh we have almost unlimited trades now". That doesn't mean you can go stupid things like starting with Sandi. Better to go safe than sorry and use that trade on an area you couldn't have easily avoided, or upgrading.

Windigo

Starting with Sandi isn't entirely stupid.

Starting Setanta & Angus Graham. Now, that would be stupid.  8)

Reminds me of a Whatlez quote .. "If you start with Boyd you may aswell not enter a team this year"
