im goals galore...been making a charge up the ladder from bout 20th after the first few rounds, had a rubbish start lol

You'll find that when you're in form, you definitely notice the difference when looking at the Classic Leagues; unfortunately not all the time you get the result you think you deserve in H2H leagues.

I'm obviously Popey's Heroes, and I'm, um, smug about my position on both ladders!

The only problems I may have there is the lack of another top class mid after the big 3 I have in Ono, Rojas and Vidosic. Then I have Carrusca, who is ok, and Finkler, who I need to trade. Don't have a lot of cash, about 60k, so dunno who to get. Also, thoughts on Heffernan? Wondering whether to keep him or not... Thoughts are welcome!! Current team:

tossed up whether to bring in Del Piero, Smeltz, or Garcia this week and took Garcia............was feeling pretty good about it until del piero ripped wellington to pieces haha

Same here! Exact same here Colmullett! Then also had choice between McGarry, Culina and Yau and went McGarry didn't I? Oh well! Might get Culina in for Currusca this week if he isn't back, and maybe Topor Stanley also.

Hmm, on second look I may take Goodwin over Topor Stanley. Looking to get one in for Heffernan. I also really want Del Piero as I feel he has now flicked the switch, so to speak, and may well start to really carve it up.

Other players I am unsure on who take a place in my team include McGarry, who I got in this week, Carrusca and Brockie. Carrusca to Culina may be the way to go, but if McGarry doesn't score or assist next week he may be on the chopping block as he was a last minute decision right before lockout.

FM Fantasy A league >:(

I just had a peep to see my overall climb in the rankings, after my genius move to trade Heskey to ADP and Captain the former Juventus great... seems I missed the window last Friday or flowered it up somehow :'(
The trade is good for this week but I missed last weeks gold. Also means that if ADP pulls up sore this week and doesn't play, it may cost me 3 points to find a replacement as I have already burned my trade for the week!

Ok Luigi! Have been looking for a second opinion for a while now! Need some thoughts as to what i could do. Would like to know who are the players you would like to have out of the team who are currentyl there. Current team is as below:

Covic, (Birighitti)
Milligan, Rose, Goodwin, Sainsbury, (Gerhardt)

Admittedly Popey, I wouldn't be worrying too much given your overall score. A lot of Fantasy A-League runs on form and consistency for both players and teams, as well as individual bursts of brilliance.

At a glance, what is keeping your team from scoring as high as you want is:
-The reliance on 2 CCM defenders.
-Having Goodwin on field, when he's gotten a measly 3 clean sheets, along side random acts of attacking bursts.
-McGarry as just wasted money on the bench, as he has far from proven himself this season.
-And relying on team form from finals fighting contenders of Sydney, Wellington and Heart in Culina, Brockie and Garcia.

So, my possible solutions:
-McGarry downgrade to Fenton or Polkak to bank some cash. You already have good bench cover so this replacement can easily go 3rd preference on the bench. (at this stage i do not know how much cash you already have)
-Garcia or Brockie, to Heskey or Archie Thompson.

And then play your field something like this: (revised 3-4-3 Formation.)

Covic
Milligan, Rose, Sainsbury
Rojas, Vidosic, Ono, Culina
McBreen, Thompson, Garcia
(Birighitti,,, Goodwin, Gerhadt, Poljak)
-With still 70k or so in the bank.

Then over time, closely analyse Culina and Garcia, decide what you want to do there, then if form fails for CCM, a defending switch for possibly an Adelaide defender.

Your team is not much different to mine ;D
