Ok mate. Have taken your 'advice' and salvaged a team by myself. Sorry if I bugged you. But when I said that, I didn't mean a team, just 2-3 blokes that are the Ablett's and Swan's of the A-League world. Anyway, I managed to come up with this:
Ryan
Cassio, Thwaite, I.Franjic
Broich(VC), Burns, Dugandzic, Flores, Pellegrino
Del Piero(C), Huysegems
(Hall, Gerhardt, Caira, Markelis)
45k left.
Any advice/criticism would be much appreciated.

Now, I have a choice between Del Piero and Huygesems or Smeltz and Griffiths. I figure if Huygesems fails I can trade him out after round 3-4. Del Piero will clearly be the best, but maybe I should go the ever-reliable Smeltz. Dunno yet...

Saying that, I don't think Adelaide are very good value for Fantasy.  Only Vidosic and Carrusca are on my radar for now.

I have no idea what im doing but im trying to beat my A League crazy fans. I have done as much research as I can but with little Al eague knowledge im struggling. If you could give a very harsh criticism of my team that would be much appreciated. Any big mistakes with people I have in or things i have left out.

a few thing im looking over is cassio im not sure about. Along with broich is he worth 50k more than Paartalu not sure if i should downgrade broich to Paartalu and than spend 190k on a mid instead of rojas. or I could downgrade rjoas to finkler, broich to Paartalu and than go Cassio to Bojic.

Well, I've taken Paartalu over Broich myself.  I think Broich is class, but Paartalu and even Nichols provide much better value for their prices.  Finkler is a great choice too.  I have him in my team as he should play a fair bit and at 100k could very well be steal of the season.

Your defence looks a lot like mine, though I just did a play around before and dropped Rose for Bojic, but Rose is a gun and is also a little cheaper as well.  Not sold on any of Adelaide's defenders.  I think there's much better players out there, namely any Perth, CCM or Brisbane defender.  I'm playing 3-5-2 with Thwaite, Bojic and Franjic at the back, mainly because there's two excellent cheap back up options in Caira and Gerhardt in defence, which freed up a lot of cash for me.

Halloran and Rojas are class players, but watch out for rotation there.  Both will get game time, but are big candidates for subs (either on or off) as both Brisbane and Melbourne have a fair amount of depth in midfield now.  It's certainly not a bad team though, but I would look to try and get at least two class mids in.  At the moment you have only one in Broich, though when he hits top form he is probably the best in the business.  There's a lot of good options between the 200k and 250k mark for mids.  Some good options include Vidosic [Adelaide] (who I just brought in today actually), Bertos [Wellington], Sanchez [Wellington], MCGlinchey [CCM], Paartalu [Brisbane], Miller [Perth], Fred [Heart].  If you have the extra cash then Duganzic [Heart] and or Nichols [Brisbane] are two fantastic players as well.

Will post my team and ladder prediction tomorrow, working overtime to swtich from AFL/NRL mode to A-League takes more than a week  :P

Luigi (and anyone else considering Burns) - Do Not Pick Jacob Burns!!! Great player, would love him beside me on the pitch, but racks up yellows as a hobby, and doesn't get the assists etc to offset that.

Got my team locked apart from one spot. I had McGlinchey and was happy with him but im thinking thomas as backup is too good to pass up.

So i now have 200k to spend on any mid. Bertos, Halloran and J.Brown are the front runner at the moment. If i go Halloran than i would need to change Berish to Smeltz

I am running with Thomas as my number 1! Not spending that much on a back up keeper, the gold is in the mids and fwds, and expect Victory to concede many fewer this year
