Popey99

Too late now but if he doesn't perform tonight and you don't NEED to trade anyone else, then go for it.

Heart were playing phenomenenly in the second half especially; capitalising on Roar's lack of effort and pressure.
Tadic was a standout!

I know! I tipped this match to go either way given the unpredictability, and boy was i right about that part! ;D

Heart v Brisbane. Bottom of the Table Clash. Brisbane simply misfiring lately: defensive lapses, having their attack being closed down too easily, not enough composure and confidence in front of goal. Heart are just lacking the tactical qualities needed to take out a full 90 minutes on top. The potential is there for both teams to fire, but Brisbane will surely come on top this time, but it is unpredictable.

Western Sydney v Newcastle. The Defensive team v the Attacking team. expect counter attack here to catch eachother off guard. Newcastle have more than enough to crack a goal or two, but WSW are disciplined in defense enough to make it a brave stand off. Credit to them so far.

Sydney v Melbourne. Sydney still lack a good defense, but are effective on goal, when the chances come. Victory are getting there, and currently are a better rounded team. With or without ADP, at least a goal will be scored each way, but Melbourne look to edge ahead.

Wellington v CCM. Central Coast are all class. Just put on a class for everyone to watch everytime they play. Wellington meanwhile are not consistent yet and lack the ability to break down a good defense. Wellington are dangerous on the counter; but CCM have quite the iron fist. Mariners to have a good lead.

Adelaide v Perth. Both very quality teams and have shown similar playing traits throughout the season. Both have defenses that are on and off, but both have that potential killer fwd line. After an exciting week, expect them to calm down here, and either lock out eachother, or go firing both ways. Even stevens.

Just my tips for this week.

Oh wow, would you look at that, i was right about all my tips.
Its good to keep your faith in your team as well!

5/5 in tips

then to top it off, had an above average score in Fantasy A-League, with Vukovic 6 saves, Sainsbury clean sheet, Goodwin assist, Vidosic goal, Rogic assist, Heskey goal and captain.

:)

Broich is killing me, do people see him and Brisbane rebounding? I'm not going to captain him anymore but if I downgrade him and make 50k I can turn husygems into anyone but he's key or delpiero who I both have. Maybee smelts or berisha when they are back.

Popey99

Mate, you are a mind reader! I had that exact idea! I have both of D'Piero and Heskey too. Only problem is... There's no one I can take him to! I would get Rojic back but I already have 3 CCM players (Rose, Sainsbury, Ryan) who are killing it.

Toughie isn't it with Brisbane looking soooo bad. I'm keeping Broich personally, he is an absolute gun and everything comes through him in the middle. I did however dump two Roar players Franjic and Berisha this week.

Decisions, decisions!

Finkler is the man.

He was the first that popped into my head, but still unsure. Will hold him (Broich) for one week and then dump if Brizzy and him fail.

Yeah I wouldn't let go of Broich either, but Finkler is so way underpriced, been watching closely, the gun is a jet and so underpriced it's not funny.

Hyundai A-League Round 7 Preview

Brisbane Roar v Sydney FC. Both teams here are struggling to hit some form on the pitch, but Sydney maybe in more strife than Brisbane. Seeing Sydney just lost their coach, and are playing away, with or without ADP, i don't think this will end well. Brisbane know how to win, they just need to get the ball rolling, and i think it will start now. Their defence has been shocking recently, but Sydney has been just as worse. Brisbane by a few should be the outcome.

Adelaide United v Melbourne Heart. I hate tipping against my team, so my tip will always be the Heart. But with trying to not be bias, I will say this will be a tough match. Adelaide have a good list and know how to win games, and being at home will only strengthen them. Heart have some confidence know, and Tadic is getting defenders scared. Both teams have the potential shaky defences, but both teams know how to score, maybe Adelaide more I would have to say. But, my tip is a 2-all draw, or one of the teams to win by 1. My tip will be Heart of course.

Melbourne Victory v Central Coast Mariners. Interesting match up this will be. Victory hitting some form, definitely, almost losing a 3-0 lead 2 weeks ago, and coming behind from 2-0 down to win by 1 last week, so the quality to score is out there; Rojas and Thompson to name two. Central Coast are always playing extravagently though, I am a fan of their plays. Again, I expect CCM to edge ahead, but this match also has a chance to be a lockout due to Melbourne's sturdiness.

Newcastle Jets v Wellington Pheonix. Newcastle are playing finely, and know how to win games. You also can't get enough of Heskey. Wellington are getting there, but their current form and list, and defence, are not simply matching the rest of the league's. They are never an easy beat for some reason, and Newcastle also like making things look harder than they really should be. A 2-2 all draw, otherwise the Jets by a few.

Perth Glory v Western Sydney Wanderers. Perth are getting better and better this season, but slowly, so they must be careful and watch out of WSW's ability to defend well and counter fast and effectively. I wouldn't be too surprised if at some point in the match, WSW look favourite. If Smeltz starts, that may be enough to throw off the Debutant's morale, but otherwise this will be an exciting match! My tip is another draw.

Luigi.

Anyone jumping Nabbout? Almost certainly will get more game time but I am going no where near him...

Nope. If you've already got a team you are mostly happy with no loose ends, they shouldn't want to afford a risk.
With Victory, they share their scoring, a lot. The effect that Postecoglou has, is that he literally wants to turn Victrory into Brisbane.
He will do that by trying to cement his best starting 11, then choosing most likely 2  positions that will allow flexibility for young guns like Nabbout to pop in here and there, not all the time..
