Might be an ignorant and stupid question (sorry, don't mean for it to be) but why do we have to have trades done by Thursday and teams in by Friday?

Why not Saturday night before the matches start??

Thanks

Not an ignorant or stupid question at all LE ;)
Fletch was running the comp back in the first year it was on and that was just the rules we had for it. Since I started running the comp last season I have just continued doing this.
Also I don't like the Saturday night thing, because sometimes games start at 10, sometimes midnight sometimes other times. Having it set at midnight the night before just gives it a simple time that everyone knows of :)

Yay!

Clean sheets for Terry and Luiz while Walcott slots a consolation :)

On the other hand, Torres reminds us how shower he can be and Routledge's Swansea get rolled by Villa.

Add to that the clean sheet keeping Schwarzer and Riise on the bench.

Okay so far.
