they are going with the 1 sub rule next year and not changing to the 2 sub rule. I think if you go all Rookies then you will be too far behind in points. You have to start with atleast 2 prems and with Embley and Ball that cheap one of then has to be a lock

I probably won't, but it's possible. I'm locking in GAJ and Cotch, so maybe rookies could fill the rest.

Gaj,Watson,Deledio(POD) then Rookies for five other spots.
Also will go with the returning players in the forward line and then load up with def premiums and ruck premiums.

Im taking a risk next year, gonna go Gazza and pendles and the rest rooks. But it miight not be the worst idea to start ball and embley as m3/m4 aswel. So so much money to be made in order to catch up ;)

I read the comment regarding Impromptu doing it in 2010 but to be honest you'll have buckleys chance winning as by the  time you have a decent midfield built you'll be a long way behind the leaders in total points scored. Ok for a league victory perhaps but not if you want to win the whole thing.

I'm thinking 3 super/prems, i midpricer- Ball/ Embley for example, and 4 rooks. As many have said, u may find yourself too far behind with 6 or so rookies in ur 8 mid spots. Also agree that no GWS or Suns to almost guarantee most of ur rooks take the feild weekly, is fairly risky. But those who risk it, could be laughing if everything fell into place for them

Considering I play in multiple cash leagues and couldn't care less about overall, I think I'll be having a crack at this next year. No guts no glory!
